Amethyst with Hematite and/or Goethite and/or Lepidocrocite (?)

Item Description

A really attractive Amethyst specimen from Rio Grande do Sul featuring several very sharp, lustrous, GEM/gemmy light purple color "stubby" crystals with notable dozen of tiny inclusions of black, tan and golden-brown crystals of unidentified iron oxide, i.e., Hematite or possibly Goethite or maybe even Lepidocrocite. Great quality all the way around, and certainly beautiful up close under the microscope. We photographed the inclusions with a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens. If you're a Quartz collector, I have to think you'd like one of these in your collection.
