Amethyst (with Goethite inclusions)

Item Description

A really attractive specimen of crystallized Amethyst from the famous deposits in the Artigas Department, Uruguay. The piece hosts many sharp, gemmy, light purple color hexagonal crystals with attractive dark inclusions of Goethite (and probably some Hematite), that create very attractive internal forms. Really cool under the microscope, and definitely more than just another Uruguayan Amethyst.
