Amethyst with Fluorapatite

Item Description

A most unusual and really interesting Amethyst crystal with unique form / modifications and a soft almost velvety exterior. I backlit the crystal with a strong fiber optic light, and the internal coloration is crazy. Shades of Siberian purple, to a yellowish Citrine hue and even soft Smoky Quartz shades. There's a soft coating of the base of the crystal of microscopic bladed, tabular, white Fluorapatite crystals. They're small, but they're there, and really cool to look at under the microscope.
