Amethyst with Calcite (Karl Faddis Coll.)

Item Description

Glassy, luscious, blush-purple amethyst crystals of varying sizes form a beautiful and striking, two-sided specimen from the famous mines at Guanajuato. The amethysts are preferentially sprinkled with sparkly calcite rhombs. One of the large amethysts is contacted on one side, but has very little actual damage. The rest of the piece is essentially pristine. Classic and excellent older material from this noted locale from the Karl Faddis Collection.
