Item Description

Glassy, luscious, rich grape-purple amethyst crystals of varying sizes form a beautiful and striking, two-sided specimen from the famous mines at Guanajuato. The amethysts are sprinkled with clusters of white calcite rhombs and preferentially dusted with sparkly calcite microcrystals. Essentially pristine, with only one very gently bruised crystal tip on the back side of the crystal. Classic and excellent older material from this noted locale from the Karl Faddis Collection.
