Amethyst with Calcite

Item Description

What an attractive specimen of the well-known Amethysts from the Valenciana Mine. This full-sized miniature hosts a group of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, soft purple color, prismatic hexagonal crystals associated with off-white colored Calcite sitting on top. It looks like every Amethyst is terminated as far as I can tell, and the only real damage of note is around the periphery where it was separated from the pocket wall.
