Amethyst (with a distinct "phantom")

Item Description

A classic, sharp, single crystal of gemmy lavender purple Amethyst from the Kingston Range. The crystal shows excellent prismatic hexagonal form with lustrous faces, but when the piece is backlit, a rich purple chevron-shaped "phantom" can be seen inside. Good quality for the material (with a separation mark on the back where it was detached from the pocket) and it's not often that one finds a good single like this from the Kingston Range.
