Item Description

A dramatic large specimen of parallel-growth amethyst crystals with nifty and uncommon smoky quartz highlights. The glassy, translucent, crystals have variable purple color and the front has the striking "alligator" look. The crystals are in fine shape, overall. This specimen is from the 2006 find at the AVE (Spanish High Speed Train) quarry works. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
