Item Description
A sculptural diverging pair of amethyst crystals is elegantly framed by nubby oxide-tinted Calcite on this RARE and aesthetic small cabinet combination from the famous Goboboseb Mountains. The pretty purple, gemmy, glassy and lustrous crystals have nicely accenting stepped-growth prism faces and satin lustre termination faces. Bright light reveals the interior of the gemmy crystals have interesting variable blush-purple chevron-shaped hues. Fine amethyst crystals with this form of calcite are RARE from this well-known locale and this is an outstanding example.
