A colorful and impresssive large combination plate from the famous Cavnic Mine. The pretty blush-purple, translucent amethyst crystals are festooned with sprays of nifty calcite crystals. The glassy, amber scalenohedrons have stepped-growth faces with striking, gemmy, near flat-topped terminations. Some crystals are doubly terminated, including the isolated beauty in the center at 1.7 cm. A fine accent are the scattered about, lustrous, brassy, pyrite pyritohedrons. Choice and excellent large combination material from this noted locale.
