The beautiful and striking purple chevron-shaped amethyst bands, partial rich coating of calcite rhombs and sharp limpid termination with sculptural cloud-like inclusions of this very glassy, flattened, hexagonal, water-clear crystal make for an exceptional and most aesthetic example from the Goboboseb Mountains. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. A tiny bruise to the tip is out-of-sight on the back and a hard-to-see contact on the middle-front, where another crystal once lay, but with no damage, per se, are noted. These have very minimal impact to the high quality of this piece. A classic and adorable amethyst. Valued $800-1000. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
