Item Description

An aesthetic large cluster of amethyst crystals from this uncommon California locale. The sharp terminations are transparent pretty blush purple with the rest of the lustrous crystals being translucent with variable purple color. Skeletal and stepped-growth features on the sides add pizzazz to this rare and excellent example. Some of the crystals are doubly terminated. Seldom on the market. Collected by the late Ken Gochenour, circa mid-1990s.
