A showy and excellent amethyst stalactite from the classic locale of Uruguay. It is complete all around and the glassy crystals have pretty, light violet to intense, deep, grape-juice color. This piece has good form and is actually two intergrown stalactites, as the sawed and polished base reveals. You really don't expect to see red, green, yellow, powder-blue and white banded cores in these!! This is a very fine example of a rather common material still on the market today, though not often in such quality.
