Amethyst stalactites

A dramatic, beautifully sculptural, large amethyst specimen from Artigas. Three, impressive, variably sized stalactites fill the well-trimmed, curved vug. Glassy, juicy, grape-purple to colorless quartz points form the stalactites and lining of the vug. The two large stalactites are 10.0 and 9.0 cm (the taller one appears to be shorter, as it rests lower in the vug) and the short one in the front adds much character and proportion. The stalactites are complete all-around and pristine. Aesthetic and artistic amethyst from Uruquay. 1537 grams or 3.4 pounds.
