Item Description
Some of the finest quality and diverse Quartz specimens in the world come from the Goboboseb Mountain in Namibia. Truly most of these specimens are labeled as Brandberg, but the actual pieces from from the mountain which is about 8 miles away from there. This specimen is a very good quality crystal of pale Amethyst and Smoky Quartz with a notable skeletal "thumb print" in the center of the piece. Sometimes this habit is called "Fenster Quarz" in the Alps. The piece has superb luster and great gemminess to boot. Retail value is $800.
