A fat amethyst scepter outgrowth sits upon this starkly contrasting stalk of milky quartz. Classic material for this locale, though rather well developed. ..Most are smaller in size. The color in person is more purpley than red, as photos may indicate, but the camera seems to pick up reflections off micro hematites within. The amethyst cap here is about 4.5 cm tall. Valued at $750
