Amethyst scepters on Quartz (Nowakowski Coll.)

Item Description

Glassy, translucent, light blue-purple amethyst scepters are richly and aesthetically perched atop nubby, stepped-growth, frosted quartz stalks on this dramatic and excellent large plate from this well-known copper mine. All of the scepters are, in part, doubly terminated and the large scepter is 3.2 cm across. A most impressive 360-degree specimen, that is very nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of bruising to two terminations.
