Amethyst scepters on Feldspar (unusual)

Marvelous plate of a dozen choice, gemmy Amethyst crystals on a bed of euhedral to massive Feldspars. The largest crystal is a wonderful Amethyst scepter 4.5 cm tall, with excellent luster and delicate zones of Smoky within the Amethyst. Amazingly, this is not repaired! The crystals are nearly pristine, with only a very few, very minor dings. A fantastic, very impressive specimen with great aesthetics. It is VERY unusual to get such a cluster from here! ex Charlie Key collection, valued $1500. This is from the city park area, now uncollectble, not from the nearby and often mixed-up Gobobos deposit
