Item Description

Beautiful and striking, gem grape-purple to near colorless, tabular, amethsyt scepters are dramatically attached to two faces of the glassy, translucent, large smoky quartz crystal. The scepters are doubly terminated and are very nearly pristine, with only with one, barely noticeable, basal bruise to a small crystal. Muscovite preferentially coats two prism faces adding much character. Two faces of the smoky termination are cleaved, but this remains a significant and very showy amethyst/smoky quartz combo from this noted locale. Probably older material, but no proof.
