This specimen is a great small cabinet size piece consisting of super quality, sharp, gemmy, highly lustrous, prismatic, light purple color scepter habit, "reverse" scepter habit and simple prismatic crystals of Amethyst measuring up to 2.1 cm associated with white/colorless, translucent, modified rhombohedra of Calcite on matrix. This piece is remarkable for Bolivia as it features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of from this country, and the quailty of both the Amethyst AND the Calcite crystals makes it one of the best in this size range that I've offered. This is one of the best pieces from the find for quality, aesthetics and overall appeal. Valued at $500 retail.
