Sceptered amethyst specimens of this quality and color combination are uncommon from the Orange River. The glassy, tabular, nearly transparent scepter has pretty variable blush-purple color and an imposing, well-defined phantom. The starkly contrasting stem was originally colorless, but now has a dusting of rose-colored hematite. You can see this crystal's termination on both sides. The color contrast is dramatic. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only the slightest of termination wear. Very choice material from the Charlie Key dealer stock and valued at $300.
