Amethyst scepter on matrix (Charlie Key)

An excellent amethyst scepter from recent finds in the Brandberg. This glassy crystal sits on oxide-coated matrix with smaller crystals on the back. The scepter is transparent to translucent, being water-clear on the front and having lightly frosted faces on the back. The luscious grape-purple interior clouds really add pazzazz. Every turn of this sharp, pseudohexagonal crystal presents an entirely different perspective of the exterior and interior of this fine piece. Complete all-around and pristine.
