Amethyst (scepter crystal) (ex Charlie Key Collection)

Item Description

Several Quartz crystals in a beautiful cluster of featuring stunning, gemmy Amethysts "tips" which transistion into colorless prismatic Quartz throughout the rest of the crystals. The main crystal in this lovely group measures 3.5 cm long, and is actually a scepter, showing a thin "stem" at the base. Better in person, complete-all-around, with only a few contacted crystals around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket. A showy and eye-catching display specimen of these now classic Quartz specimens from Erongo. Ex Charlie Key personal collection. Charlie is arguably the most sucessful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
