A striking and excellent amethyst scepter from recent finds in the Brandberg. This dramatic cluster of intergrown, doubly terminated crystals sits on a stalk of milky quartz with matrix. The crystals are water-clear, except for the nifty swirl pattern on one side and have luscious grape-purple clouds. Every turn of this sharp, pseudohexagonal crystal presents an entirely different perspective of the exterior and interior of this fine crystal. Complete all-around and essentialy pristine, with only a tiny bruise on the back of the termination. This is an excellent example of sceptered Brandberg amethyst for the size.
