Amethyst (scepter)

A gorgeous, gemmy Amethyst scepter specimen featuring TWO crystals on a stalk of milky Quartz from Hopkinton, Rhode Island. The Amethyst crystals are very glassy and gemmy, and it's rare in my experience to find two scepters together on a single piece like this. I can see one small nick near the termination of the larger crystal, otherwise no other damage that I can spot with the naked eye. Who would have guessed that Rhode Island would produce Amethyst scepters of this quality? These piece are no longer being found, (I believe the locality is now defunct), and these rare specimen are always in demand among collectors these days.
