Attractive, rather singular specimen of multi-generational Quartz. The first generation is comprised of gemmy, frosted Quartz crystals up to 3 cm long, coated with brilliant red microcrystals of what must certainly be Hematite. However, the color is so vivid and bright that you would think they were Chalcotrichites. The Quartz crystals are capped with sharp, zoned Amethyst scepters up to 2 cm. The light purple scepters have a very distinct purple phantom accentuated by a dusting of some manganese oxide. These add an even greater level of aesthetics to this fine piece.. Choice
