Item Description
Here we have a good sized Brazilian Amethyst with rich "grape jelly" purple color in the center, that grades to nearly colorless on the very edges. The stone has some visible inclusions, and a "Rectangle Cabochon" cut. The saturation of color in a stone this size is pretty impressive, and almost reminds me of the old Zambian Amethyst gems that had a slight "blue" flash to them due to their color saturation.
