Amethyst (reverse scepters) with Calcite* (*Calcite is rare from Bolivia)

Item Description

This specimen is a decent small cabinet size piece consisting of sharp, prismatic, purple color "reverse" scepters of Amethyst measuring up to 1.7 cm associated with frosted rhombohedra of Calcite on matrix. Please note that Calcite is a rather rare species from Bolivia, and the Calcite crystals from Bombori are the best examples of Bolivian Calcite crystals that we've seen. The Amethyst crystals on the piece are remarkable for Bolivia as it features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of from this country. A decent specimen of this now hard to find material.
