Amethyst (reverse scepters) with Calcite* (*Calcite is rare from Bolivia)

This specimen is a great small size piece consisting of great quality, sharp, gemmy, lustrous, prismatic, purple color "reverse" scepters of Amethyst measuring up to 1.5 cm associated with white to grey, translucent, modified scalenohedra of Calcite on matrix. Please note that Calcite is a rather rare species from Bolivia, and the Calcite crystals from Bombori are the best examples of Bolivian Calcite crystals that we've seen. The Amethyst crystals on the piece are remarkable for Bolivia as it features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of from this country. A good specimen of this now hard to find material. Valued at $600.
