Amethyst (reverse scepters)

Item Description

This specimen is a great miniature size piece consisting of good quality, sharp, gemmy, lustrous, prismatic, purple color "reverse" scepters of Amethyst measuring up to 1.0 cm associated with white/colorless, modified rhombohedra of Calcite on matrix. This piece is remarkable for Bolivia as it features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of from this country. A good specimen of this now hard to find material.
