Item Description
An attractive small cabient size piece consisting of good quality, sharp, GEM/gemmy, lustrous, prismatic, purple Amethyst crystals which feature the rarely seen "reverse" scepter habit on the ends of the terminations associated with white/grey, modified rhombohedra of Calcite on matrix. The largest Amethyst crystal measures 9 mm. This piece is remarkable as it features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of from Bolivia. This is one of the better pieces from the find for quality, aesthetics and overall appeal. There are few of these left, so if you are a Quartz collector, get your hands on one now, as the mine has produced nothing in about 5 years.
