Amethyst (RARE North Carolina)

Amethyst specimens are EXTREMELY RARE from any of the four localities listed by MINDAT for Macon County. Luscious, glassy, grape-purple points form a very aesthetic small cabinet. The display view is nearly pristine, with the trivial termination bruising to the three tips being barely noticeable. The contact on the back has no damage, per se. Rare and outstanding North Carolina amethsyt from a museum collection, where it was on display. The numbers match. Undoubtably old material, but no proof. A MUST for the species or locality collector. Value???
