Item Description
An unusual and attractive LARGE multi-colored Quartz specimen featuring deep "grape jelly" purple Amethyst forming bipyramidal overgrowths on white to smoky grey Quartz matrix. The Amethyst portion of the piece shows rich internal color along with smooth, glassy crystal faces, as a matter of fact, all of the Quartz faces are rather lustrous. A very attractive display specimen with wonderful form and coloration. Reminiscent of the "alligator" Quartz from Brazil that is so popular, but this is even better since it has the gorgeous Amethyst sections. PLEASE NOTE: This piece weighs 4.5 pounds (2 kilos) and will require an additional charge for shipping, so please keep this in mind when bidding!
