Matrix amethyst, quartz and prehnite combination specimens of this very fine quality and aesthetics are rare from the Brandberg District. A 5.3 cm, water-clear, amethyst "tower" with pretty blush-purple color and and nifty enechelon enhydros is jauntily set on a sloping vug covered with glassy quartz points and scattered mint-green prehnites. The amethyst is pristine. The base and back have been sawed to enhance the considerable display quality of this choice and rare combination piece from the Charlie Key dealer stock. Valued at $500-700.
