Item Description
A classic, beautiful blush-purple, 3.5 cm glassy, gem amethyst crystal with stepped-growth faces highlights this rich and scuptural small cabinet plate from Las Vigas. A myriad of smaller jackstraw gem quartz crystals, many with pretty light amethyst tips add much to the overall fine aesthetics of this piece. The large amethyst is essentially pristine, with only a super trivial ding to the tip. See the 2003 Mineralogical Record article in Mexico Special Issue III, Vol. 23, No. 6. An excellent, classic and rich small cabinet from the locale.
