Amethyst & Quartz and Hematite with Hyalite Opal

Intriguing pair of three-generation scepters from the Orange River area, known for its very fine Hematite-included Quartz crystals. The first generation was white Quartz, followed by well-developed Amethyst w/Hematite scepters. The luster is good, and under bright light you can see the purple and red almost 'glow' together within the crystals. The scepters are actually DOUBLY-TERMINATED, and quite well-developed. Atop the scepters is a third generation of sharp, clear Quartz (with Hematite phantoms), along with a generous layer of fluorescent Hyalite Opal. The specimen isn't the most elegant of specimens, but the individual parts are excellent and it does have personality! A very good, highly representative specimen of the sceptered Orange River pieces.
