Item Description

A rare, unusual and aesthetic pseudomorph from from the famous mines at Guanajuato. Frosted, translucent, light lavender amethyst has pseudoed an impressive cluster of sharp, hexagonal calcite crystals with nubby terminations. The large crystal is 2.5 cm. All of such calcite pseudos we have seen from here have been scalenohedrons. The matrix crust is layered, drusy chalcedony. A must for the pseudo, species or locality collector. Rare and fine.
