Item Description

Beautiful, glassy, variable blush-purple amethyt crystals to about 3.0 cm are aesthetically clustered on the large quartz crystal covered quartz plate. This fine specimen is from the late 1980s finds at the Saltman/Plumbago Amethyst Locality near the Camp Encore kids camp. Awesome color for a US amethyst locale! Just a trivial bit of bruising is noted. Excellent and highly representative material from this find. Ex Charlie Key Collection. Valued at $900.
