Item Description

Amethyst specimens from the 1980s find at this locale are an East Coast treasure. The jauntily set glassy crystals have pretty, rich blush purple color on the contrasting quartz crystal matrix. The large crystal is a scepter. Both crystals are pristine, having contacts, with no damage, per se. First discovered in 1981 and worked for approximately 10 years, this deposit yielded between 500 to 600 single scepter crystals and 35 crystal groups according to Volume 26, No. 2 of the Mineralogical Record (1995). A very highly representative and classic two-sided example of this find and locale. BETTER IN PERSON!
