Amethyst on Fluorite (ex Gene Sensel)

What a wonderfully sculptural and aesthetic association specimen of soft lilac Amethyst sitting on a robut mound of blue and green Fluorites. The Amethyst crystals are more "Amethystine", and the bases of the crystals are actually milky white, but there's a purple color to be seen for sure. This piece unfortunately was not easy to photograph, but truly looks better in person. I love the fact that it displays so well on its own and truly looks good from a few angles. It's a bit hefty, so PLEASE NOTE that there will be an additional shipping charge. The piece comes with a John Betts label stating it was part of the collection of Gene Sensel, and an additional label from Scott Williams stating it was part of the Corely Collection (1958).
