Old style, CABINET, amethyst specimens of this fine quality from Las Vigas are seldom seen on the market today. The gemmy, aesthetically isolated and disrcrete crystals reach 2.9 cm and have pretty variably purple color. There are several doubly terminated horizontal crystals on this nifty large piece. The matrix is covered with uncommon sparkly tufts of quartz microcrystals. Very nearly pristine, with only one broken, barely noticeable secondary crystal.
