A striking 7.0 cm, sharply terminated, gemmy, water-clear to translucent amethsyt crystal with pretty blush-purple color and accenting veils is dramatically set on the large curved vug lined with glassy elongated calcite prisms with rounded terminations and smaller light amethyst crystals. The impressive large crystal is pristine and every turn of this very glassy, lustrous crystal with subtle stepped-growth presents a different perspective. Amethyst and calcite combinations are RARE from the Gobobose Mts and this is an outstanding example from the Charlie Key Collection. Valued at $1000.
