Gemmy, highly lustrous, intensely grape-purple, amethyst points top a dramatic CABINET specimen from Montana. The stepped-growth faces really add to the character of this piece. The color saturation is gorgeous under strong light. A very trivial bit of termination edgewear is noted, but is certainly not a detraction.
