Amethyst (minor reverse scepter)

Item Description

This specimen is a nice large thumbnail / small toenail size piece consisting of sharp, translucent, prismatic, pale purple crystals of Amethyst measuring to 2.6 cm on matrix. One of the side crystals shows a slight "reverse" scepter habit, which is very uncommon for Bolivian Quartz outside of this locality. There are few of these left, so if you are a Quartz collector, get your hands on one now, as the mine has produced nothing in at least five years.
