Item Description

A remote region of Kenya has recently produced some stunning large amethyst specimens, as singles and very large clusters. This imposing, 360-degree, glassy, sharply terminated crystal has a very pretty lavender interior strikingly accented with parallel-growth crystals with the "alligator hide" look, skeletal features and clay inclusions. For the size of the piece, it is essentially pristine. Contacting on the lower sides against other crystals, has very little actual damage. The impressive large piece displays dramatically from multiple sides. Very showy material.
