Amethyst included by hematite

Item Description

A dramatic opposing cluster of sharply terminated amethyst crystals included-with and coated-with hematite. Rust-red hematite preferentially coats one side of this excellent piece. The other side reveals the glassy, translucence of the blush-purple crystals preferentially included-with bright brick-red hematite. The coated side is very nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising to the tip of the large crystal. Nearly a floater, the back side has only a trivial bit of contacting and one small point of attachment. Choice and rare material of this style. The piece displays well from both sides and from two angles.
