Amethyst geode w/ Agate rim slice

A very showy, sculptural and colorful polished combination geode slice from Brazil. The striking open interior of the slice is surrounded by pretty purple amethyst crystals followed by colorless quartz. Dense bands of green, brown and blue-gray agate surround the amethyst adding color and character. Ex Ron Pellar Collection. Ron is a well-known California and Arizona collector. A very fine amethyst and agate slice from Rio Grande do Sul.
