Item Description

A striking, colorful and most unusual amethyst "flower" from Irai. Gem, pretty lavender sharply terminated amethyst "petals" comprise the sculptural 5.0 cm "flower" and nearby smaller "flowers". Colorless quartz crystals in the "flower" center are a nice contrast. Dramatically contrasting light orange, oxide-coated quartz points resting on rich green celadonite are a superlative contrast to this two-sided layered small cabinet. It has several fine display views. Choice and rare in this style very colorful amethyst from the Joe Lobell Collection.
