Beautiful, water-clear, blush-purple, amethyst sprays are aesthetically scattered on the matrix plate covered with smaller amethyst or colorless quartz points on this oustanding older specimen from Las Vigas. The large amethyst is 2.9 cm. Ex Jack Halpern Collection # 1088 and comes with a 1960s to mid-1970s Lidstrom"s label with a $40 price. Very high quality, not cheap material in those days. Valued today at $800-1000.
