This is a classic style of Guerrero amethyst, with colorless gem tips grown over blush-purple cores. The yellow iron oxide inclusions in the smaller crystals are a striking contrast and add pizzazz. This particular piece is a fine aesthetic spray. The effect is striking in person and looks fabulous from either side. This excellent piece is nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising to the large crystal terminations. Material like this hasn't been dug up in decades, and is hard to find today on the market.
